Aesthetic choices aren’t about practicality. Sometimes we use practicality to justify aesthetic choices (cost per wear, it already goes with half of my closet, it’s for the kitchen, etc). But these are the choices that should defy common sense, that draw you insatiably to them and linger in your mind for days or months if you walk away.
